Accra, Ghana — Building on the success of its historic 2025 launch, 100 Plus Women of Virtue, Inc. (USA) returns to Ghana for its second international mission, led by Founder Shannan “Lady” Ighodaro. This year’s mission introduces Bloom Africa™ Cohort II, a curated delegation of prominent business and professional women leaders representing the United States, Jamaica, and The Bahamas.
Scheduled for June 21 through July 1, 2026, the mission marks the organization’s second year of engagement in Ghana, advancing its commitment to strengthening bilateral tourism, trade, and investment between Africa and the diaspora. What began as a landmark introduction has evolved into a sustained platform for economic collaboration and leadership exchange.
The Bloom Africa™ Cohort II delegation brings together accomplished women across industries, including business, education, philanthropy, and the arts, each positioned to expand her influence and impact internationally. The mission is designed not as a cultural visit, but as a focused opportunity for visibility, relationship building, and long-term engagement.
In partnership with Women in Tourism Ghana, the Human Rights and Child Protection Unit, and U.S.-based partner the Greater Miami Gardens International Chamber of Commerce, the delegation will participate in high-level meetings with government officials, tourism authorities, and key stakeholders to strengthen economic ties and identify opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
In addition to formal engagements, the delegation will experience curated cultural immersions that highlight Ghana’s heritage while fostering meaningful dialogue and connection. The mission continues to position Ghana as a central hub for diaspora engagement and shared opportunity.
“This second mission reflects our continued commitment to building bridges that move beyond conversation into action,” said Ighodaro. “We see tremendous value in strengthening relationships that support tourism, trade, and investment while elevating women as drivers of global impact.”
As 100 Plus Women of Virtue expands its presence in Ghana, the organization reinforces its role as a connector of people, purpose, and possibility—bringing together visionary women to engage, invest, and lead beyond borders.
